are the type s flange and a stock 1g flange close. like if i bought a uicp with a type s flange could i put a 1g flange on it for my rfl?

No the flanges are completely different. You would have to buy a 1g flange and get it welded on. Why not just buy a uicp with the 1g flange?

They're not completely different but they do have a few things.
If you follow these instructions you could modify it to where you can mount the greddy.


But not vice versa.

Yeah i've seen that thread also. But he's starting out with a type-s flange, not the other way around, so how would that work???

judging by the link up top i am going to say no b/c the type s flange is shoter and wider. so i am just going to have a friend make a flange for my rfl to fit a type s flange.
