is it possible to purchase the wideband o2 sensor itself from a parts store like autozone? if so whats the part number on it? thanks
 
I'm not sure which bosch sensor you need, it may help to post that. My techedge unit uses the "057" bosch sensor with short lead. I get them locally at a VW dealer using VW part number 021-906-262B. Odds are you'll be able to get it local, if you can get the bosch part number and look around.
