this just started happening out of the blue. today, i took my car out, and went thru first gear. only 10 psi. played with the boost controller, still on 10 psi. went to a long stretch of road and went thru the gears. 10 psi in first, 15 psi in 2nd, and 15 psi in the 3rd.

now why the hell am i only getting 10 psi in first? the car feels really slow without the first gear pull...

doesn't seem to be my joe p. i put on my old homemade one and it only boosted 10psi in first gear, and then 15psi in 2nd and 3rd gear. does anyone have any idea what is going on? i can understand the car boosting 14 psi in first gear, and then like 16psi in 3rd gear, but i cant even get above 10.

sounds to me like it could be a boost leak, i would make a pressure tester. i just make one a week ago and it has saved me and my brother a shit ton of headaches.

also you could check out your turbo, it might have died on you... take a look at the compressor wheel it should be obvious if its having a rough life.

i drove around today a little bit, in first gear, it felt like it wanted to go past 10psi (it went up to 13psi), but then it just quickly went down to 10psi after that.

once again, my boost in 2nd-5th gear easily lets me go past 10psi, up to 19psi (whoops!). anyone got any ideas why my boost is all messed up in first gear only??
