92 eclipse gst when the car is at idle in neutral what should the vac read on the boost gauge becuz mine is reading 12

as far as i know, it can be different for each car. my 2g usually runs about .5 bar (~7.35 psi) at idle and .8 bar on deceleration.

I've read a few posts on this in the past. It does seem to be altitude dependant from what I've read. I personally sit at 18vac at idle. Without checking posts It seems to me 20-16 was average. 12 seems a bit low, might want to check for leaks. Do a search if you'd like a more definate answer.

12 is low for stock cams, run a pressure test and check for leaks. Are you having any operational issues? idle surge, lost of power....

i taped in from the p line in the throttle body
i just bought the car it holds idle pretty well im not very familar with the turbo cars yet
i checked my boost gauge line no kinks and i know there is no leaks in that line i tested it with my vac pump

where exactly? is it the vacum hoses right by the brake booster and master cylinder?
and what color line do i tap in?
