hey guys i have a problem...here it goes...

my talon doesnt reach full boost (10lbs) untill 5k rpms which is was too high. the car had sat for about a year before i got it and i thought that maybe it had some oil gumped up in the bearing but ive used like marvels mystery oil numerous times. there is no shaft play at all and the turbo spins freely. this is my 2nd talon and my other one didnt do this. my guess is that its a cracked exhaust housing?!? the car has 144000 miles on it and although i believe the turbo to be rebuilt most times they dont replace the exhaust housing. let me know what you guys think so that i can fix this shit before spring.

also if it is the exhaust housing, does anyone have a 7cm exhaust housing laying around that they want to sell me...LOL

okay tonight i had the car out and sometimes when im like in 2nd or 3rd and i punch it to the floor ill hit 10psi by like maybe 4k 4200 rpms but like the rpms dont go up as fast...like hesitation almost...come on guys help me out here

Having exact same problems. Am trying to get through them today. I will post a reply. My issues are multiple so far, but all stemming from a serious lag, but showing boost! Check out my latest post for what I am dealing with, and there may be something there to check out for yourself.
Titled "What sensor Would do This?" in Problem Diagnosis. MAF and turbo are still problem options, and I am resetting my timing again using the belt and checking the port on the back of the motor for the rear balance shaft to be timed correctly.

I checked everything including redoing my timing and double checking the position of the rear balance shaft. I am guessing MAFS or Turbo, though I can get boost, the creep is incredible.

i didnt really think that it was any of that stuff. i just had replace my timing belts etc less then 3k miles ago, and my turbo is in great shape too. i really just think that its the exhaust housing? has anyone encountered this??
