Boost Leak

i finally got an air compressor and just finished doing a boost leak test and i could hear all the air leaking out somewhere around the turbo and exhaust manifold but i couldn't pin point it and ran out of air. Is this a bad place to be leaking air?

you need to do the test again and figure out exactly where it's coming from... could be just a gasket.

you can use some soapy water... just get some on your finger and wet around the place you think the leak might be coming from then just look for bubbles

Could be the EGR thermo valve off the thermostat housing. It's plastic and cracks over time. Also check your BOV return line.

Could be the EGR thermo valve off the thermostat housing.

If you're sure it's coming out of exhaust, it's either the EGR or valve overlap.

I know there is more than one leak i have to deal with!! It's not coming from the exhaust just underneath the exhaust manifold, maybe turbo seal? i did another test on the uip to throttle body and pressurized but didn't hold and could hear air leaking from under the valve cover and also i took off the oil cap and felt air coming out!! Then i unhooked the pcv valve and capped it off and did another test. It would still leak when i pressurized but leaked much slower and from the throttle body to the elbow. i got a lotta leaks
