boost leak or normal?

i recently put on a uicp and bigger tb elbow on my 91 eclipse, and now when i let off the gas my bov valve makes a whistle sound, use to sound actually like it was blowing air, now it sounds like someone barley blowing a whistle, and also when i let off the gas sometimes my boost gauage(stock) will go down then up then down again instead of going just down.....is that normal for the stock gauge? and i know i need a aftermarket boost gauge!!!!

also my car doesnt fell any faster, maybe slower since i put the uicp and tb elbow on, and it was made by david brode. any suggestions?

ok what ive heard and am telling u now that boost gauge is like a stupid lil gauge that it jus there to amuse u it does not work for crap so don't bother looking at it.is ur bov being recirculated?? def invest in a boost gauge. u can find them on the trader for like 30-40 bucks invest in one . u shouldn't really feel that big of a diff jus from the uicp and tb elbow. how much boost are u running to i read somewhere that our stock bovs only can hold up to like 16 lbs i heard (is urs stock)??

my friends 95 gst when he put on a uicp it made his bov loud, not a lil whistle like mine( mine use to be louder) and u could actually tell a difference that his had a lil bit more power, but with my car i couldnt tell any differnce, and i am running stock boost...like 12lbs?

and our cars have the same stuff done to them now, i use to beat him stock, but now he pulls 2-3 cars??? i dont understand that and hes even slow at shifting

did u check all ur connections from ur sidemount all the way up and check ur bov and see if u see anything werid about it. ummm 12 lbs is a def safe amount of boost. i would say check ur connections first. and how many lbs is ur friend running that pulled on ya was he running the same??

putting an uicp on your car will make your bov louder. The turbo may not kick in as hard as it did before because it is now making a smoother, stronger pull making it feel like it is slower.
