Alright, I have researched this topic and have found some answers, but not all of them I need.

My car is simply does not have a handle on boost. I believe it is boost creep. That is the first topic I would like to cover. Can someone please define what exactly boost creep is and what causes it (I think I know what boost creep is, but I don't know what causes it, which is making the problem I'm having difficult to diagnosis)

Secondly, here is my problem. With the stock boost control solenoid, my car (90 Tsi FWD) holds a rock solid 9 psi. I put on a Dejon Tool MBC (I don't know the vintage, it came in the trunk of this car, so I'm assuming it works) and boost steadily climbs up to 17-18 psi at full throttle before I let off the gas (it might boost further, but I'm sure not going to risk it). Here is the MBC setup.

The port in-line with the adjustment screw is connected to manifold pressure via a tee in between the intake manifold and BOV. The port perpendicular to the adjustment screw is connected to a bleed fitting that runs to the wastegate actuator. I believe it is properly hooked up. The adjustment screw is backed out as far as it will go.

I have a stock 14b turbo, stock exhaust (cat is probably plugged). Everything else is stock.

Anyone have any ideas on why my car won't hold boost under full load? Thanks for any help you guys can give.

Test run with both the mbc and bcs bypassed by connecting the T at the BOV/manifold line directly to the actuator. If boost holds steady at 10-12 psi, the mbc is in question. Post back if problem persists.

Yep. I did that tonight. It held at about 10-11 psi. I have been talking to Dejon as well. They came up with the same thought as you. I'm going to see if I can take the MBC apart and see if there is something wrong with it.
