Has anyone ever used a joe p manual boost controller on a evo III 16g? if so what did you think about and how did it work. Also what other manual boost controllers work good with this turbo.

thanks alot

A "Boost Controller" is only a pneumatic valve that has less tendency to leak than some other designs. Your wastegate is still "controlling" your boost, but an MBC can give a more precise actuation point. As such, it'll work on any turbocharged motor which uses a pressure-operated wastegate to allow exhaust heat and pressure to bypass the turbine.

Yes any boost manual boost controller will work and you will feel a big gain in power but I suggest spending the money on a good one like one of the named above, I bought a cheap ebay unit and it sucks, very hard to adjust :barf:
