I have a blitz boost controller that registers in bars. There is also this negative symbol that I dont know how to read. Anyway, I had a sound system installed today and I think that they messed up my settings. The setting says -10 and 1.25 bars... Can someone please help? I dont know where to even begin. There is a picture of it in my gallery under Js GSX electronics. The turbo doesnt kick in strong anymore until 5000 rpms or so. It used to hit hard at 2500rpm.

aw man u bought an electronic BC. Those things aren't really the best to use on a DSM. I have heard of the solenoids sticking and causing big problems. You should go for a Joe P. style MBC. Yea they dont look as cool, but they are reliable.

roll the mode button till you're at preset 1...there will be a one in the upper right hand corner..change the ratio (which is that thing that says -10) to about 25 or 30 to start. Then press and hold the mode button until it says gain... set that to about 18 or 19 (it controlls how fast your boost builds. WARNING don't set it too high or you'll over boost. The thing that says 1.25 is meaningless. its just a peak reading. if you press the volume button in, it'll reset to zero. Use it to figure out how much your boosting. Adjust the Ratio up mostly playing with the gain every now and then until you're boosting 1.25 again. If you got it tuned by Roy you should be able to do about 1.3 safely.

there's a limited explanation of the operating instructions at the end of the article.

Hi welcome to about 10 years ago. Electronic boost controllers are ultra reliable and very easy to use.

I have had electronic boost controllers and manual boost controllers before, and electronic is so much better. With an external wastegate it will control in a push/pull configuration on both vaccum ports on the wastegate. With mine, I get way better control with my electronic vs. a manual.

I tried setting the boost settings to what demonchild suggested. We are acutally good friends so I know the settings are correct, but the car still lacks power until 45000rpm. There must be something else that is wrong with it. I hope the guy who installed my stereo didnt totally mess up my car. Are there any possibilities as to the problem at hand?
