Just a bit of a question/potential problem... I've read about all the discussions here on boost leak, and really don't think I have one, however:

I had a 97 GSX that was just hot (more powerful than others) straight from the dealer... My new 91 Talon feels much less powerful, however doesn't it have a better stock turbo? Is there something wrong with it? Or is it the comparison between stock boost settings? I'm getting a boost gauge mounted sometime soon and will start testing things, but I figured I'd ask. Was the 1g turbo clipped maybe?

Did you run both of these at a track to see if one is faster than the other? The 2G should be faster anyway, considering they put out a few more horses than the 1G. The 2G would probably "feel" faster anyway. They went to the T25 in the 2G's to help on spool up (quicker) but they totally poop out above 5-5.5K. If your 2G spools up quicker than the 1G, that might be why you think it's way faster. The 14B is a VERY good turbo, and will run circles around a T25 with the right mods. If you are wondering if your turbo has been clipped, pull off the intake and give her a look. :thumb:
