So I have done like ten boost leaks and fixed them, put ngk bpr 8es plugs in and new wires. That hasn't fixed it. So the other night things just get worse, my water, bat, and another light stays on but I can't remember what one. The car sputters and doen't run, especially on launches it hardly moves. Then after it picks up it will start to move.

My logger throws codes, MAFT, TPS, ISC, Barometric pressure sensor, Air Intake sensor, Oxygen sensor.

I got a new TPS of a 92 tsi awd at the junk yard, and was wondering if this could fix the problem, and getting a gm maft and gm mas. I really want this thing fixed it isnt even fun to drive anymore:cry:

Also what is the cheapest place to buy a GM MAFT setup. Thanks in advance.

Often when multiple lights come on on the dash that means something is wrong with the charging system, most likely the alternator.

You will have to pull out your ecu which is in the center console behind the radio) and open it up. There are 3 black capacitors that are on the ecu's board that are very well known to start leaking after time. When you open up your ecu, you will know if they are bad because it will have a bad fish-like smell to it.

Here is a site I found with a lot of information about capacitor replacement.

Sweet thanks. But how can I test my ecu I haven't smelled any bad fish stinky tuna smell in my car, and I havent noticed any clicking. Just the clicking from my remote start and that is under the steering colm, not behind the radio.

You really don't need the BPR8ES plugs, especially on the E16G turbo that your profile says you have. Those plugs are 2 "heat ranges" colder than stock. You'd be better with 7ES's or 6Es's, especially if you're not running high boost.

I'm with this guy. Those plugs are not needed and BPR7ES is all you should need. Check your gapping as well.

Yeah, and like 95TalonOwners said, check your ecu. I had a problem with my 93 Eclipse where it threw codes that all said then maf was dead/dying and after looking some more turned out the ecu caps leaked, fried the ecu and was causing the problem.

Another question, do you have a problem starting sometimes? When I was having these problems I would also have a intermittent problem with a no start.
