Blue smoke continued...

so i get blue smoke when i'm driving my car... a few people said turbo is going, and a few people said it was my piston rings frying.. they said piston rings would be right if its when i shift, but what if i get blue smoke when i shift and while i'm accelerating? i thought it was at first there might be a little while i'm accelerating but i get clouds upon clouds behind me when i shift especially into 3rd and 4th....

in both circumstances? when the turbo is going, and when the piston rings are frying... why and how? when i say cloud of smoke too, i mean like if i'm getting on it and tur bo is psooling up and i quick shift it to the next gear.. u cant see if ur driving behind me till u go through it..

i dont think the smoke will be blue if a turbo is going bad. But dont quote me on that. My turbo just recently blew and all hell breaks loose when I drive my car now. It used to be only when I boosted a huge puff of smoke would come out, but now it seems to be very often I'm smoking continously. My turbo barely even spools anymore, its quite embarassing actually. Lol, but thats ok i gotta bunch of new stuff chillin in my room just trying to find time to put it on.

Blue Smoke.

Ive seen this before. And i was riding behind a DSM too

I've heard it was due to a bad turbo. However, Ive heard it can actually be something interal as well..possibly rings. If its white, it could be a bad headgasket.

Maybe the seals in the turbo went?

I heard that a headgasket will have a tangy smell to it.

Ill reply to this post again on thursday, thats when my turbo goes in and ill let you know if its my turbo.

how bout valve guides..that was my problem..
that and the day i got ready to put my car back in my shop the turbo blew.......if your turbo blows...you will not see shit behind you, smoke will be all over the place

hey my turbo gets replaced on thursday so ill let you know if thats exactly what my problem was
