Blow Headgasket??

Hey guys, what would be some symptoms of a bad/blown headgasket? I recently have had an overheatin problem but i fixed it with a new thermostat and now it started overheating again. My heater no longer works and the car has some hesitation in lower rpms. what do you guys think?

If you blow a head gasket you'll notice one thing in particular, a crap load of oil running everywhere of course unless all the oil is already ran out. Check your oil, pull you head and replace it if you have doubts. You will get some loss of pressure which might be causing the stumbling but I would first look for a oil leak and listen around the head gasket for vaccum/air leaks.

This link was very helpful to me. I was losing coolant out the overflow only. No coolant in oil, no white smoke, passed all pressure, combustion, and hydrocarbon tests.
Retorqued head and problem solved temporarely but mine was a rebuild with 2k when this started. Doing same again and am replacing head gasket.

I think you should flush and fill with new fluid and replace the cap with a 13lb cap. That is, if, and only if your heater core is not leaking.

3 common things to look for in a bad headgasket, oil in the coolant, coolant in the oil. Also white smoke at any rpm, I would recommend checking these things first BEFORE ripping the head off. You can also take it into a shop that has a scope and have them check it for ( i think their called ) "FC's" in the exhaust or in the coolant.
