Block heater

I'm thinking of getting on of those universal block heaters in my car, the weather up here in Canada it's been -30's with the wind.
For what I understand they get connect to a frost plug.
Does anyone know where those frost plugs are located in the engine?????????

you should just get a stock block heaterthey are cheap, and easy to install and work really well.

My car for some reason doesn't have a block heater at all.
Is it possible to get a stock block heater and get it installed????????
