blew my koni yellow shock

So my koni yellows have about 4k on em. I originally had them on some B&G lowering springs. It was probably 1.5 inches lower all around. I recently put on my hyperco coilovers with hypercoil springs and within a week, I blew the rear right shock. I'm stunned. I do not have the car dropped excessively. There is roughly a 2 and a half finger gap in the back and i run 225/45/17 tires. Does anyone know of or recommend a shop that rebuilds koni's?

Perhaps its a defective shock. It may be under warranty.

Also, how are you sure only the RR shock is blown?

I had the car on a lift yesterday and there is green fluid all over the shock. Also, I can definately feel the the difference in sag and handling when taking a left turn as apposed to taking a right turn.

Like project tsi said. I would check the warranty on the struts. Did you order them on-line or at an actual shop near you? But I would FOR SURE check the warranty on them first. You say they have 4K on them, but how long day/month wise have you had them? That may affect the warranty. And Im sure if check Koni's website out, they have some info for you.
