Blank valve cover

Hey guys, the valve cover that came with the car is blank. No letters or numbers. Doesn't even look like they even existed at some point and maybe have been ground down? It was def painted black tho. I can tell because the area near the plugs still has a little red. Anyone ever see this before? Reason why I ask is because I've searched for blank valve covers and found nothing. Just doesnt make sense to me. It's a 4g63 btw

The lettering is just shaved down.

Its probably a Hyundai valve cover.

Post pics for a definitive answer. Hydundai valve covers have letters; a quick goole search shows "DOHC 16 VALVE", Jollyrancher is probably right.

I have seen a lot more shaved Hyundai covers since there's less to remove but pics would help identify it.

That's a shaved cover, the other was not from a DSM.

definitely shaved, I've always thought they looked cool... Might even end up doing mine. Clean it up, powder it whatever color you want and rock it, sir.

Yep def a shaved stock valve cover. Cool beans. Some folks pay a little bit for those.

yup shaved valve cover did that to one of my old valve covers it ended cracking a few months after
