I have a friend that has a 1g talon and the center of the rim where you have painted them black is actually gunmetal. The strange thing about that is that the car is competely STOCK! This is the only instance of this that I have ever seen. Maybe should inquire further into this before painting them. I could be wrong though and they might have been done by the previous owner but it never hurts to try.
