Black smoke from muffler

On the last day of school I came ripping out of our school parking lot in my 99 GST SPYDER and i slammed the gas to leave a nice trail out of the parking lot. When i did this the car kind of died down a little bit and my buddy said black smoke was coming out of the pipe. Then last night i stop at a light and this kid in his little V6 mustang starts to rev it up. I was kind of excited ### he was in for a surprise. When i punched the gas the same thing. The tires didnt even spin and black smoke was coming out and it felt like i was bogging down. I hear this means my turbo is leaking but i need some info on what to do.

Black smoke means you are running rich. Are you Venting your BOV?

As for the blue smoke it COULD be

1: Failed oil ring(s) in the block
2: Failed valve seal(s) in the head
3: Failed turbo oil seal

Big boost leak or dead O2 sensor....but anyway you look at it black smoke is a very rich condition.
