Where can I find black sidemarker lenses? Ive seen them before like on ebay and stuff, but i couldnt find any listings now and i searched froogle and found nothing. So any help on locating these would be appreciated.

Ive also seen what they called a projector style sidemarker light. By chance does anyone know if they make those in black or smoked?

yeah i saw those, but i want something darker. something that is closer to the black color of my car.

if u want them to be functional then the VHT nightshades will barely allow any light to pass as dark as you want them... it would be stupid to waste so much money on a bottle of that stuff for what u want the end result to be

I think I found the "projector" side markers that were mentioned. I have never seen these before, anyone know how they would look?

I use to have those projector style side markers.. I LOVED EM.. unfortunately they have been discontinued. APC made em. They were clear and had chrome backing/polished housing. IMO they only look good on a car with very nice shiny paint and match up with a nice pair of rims with some kind of polished lip. I wanted to get another set, because I sold mine, but now they are no where to be found.

If someone knows who has this in stock please let me/us know.

here is a very old pic of my car with them on..

I've been looking for those same marker lights for my red talon but could never find them so I guess that sucks now that I know they are discontinued, I also am looking for some dark ones for my black talon and I am not going the niteshade route.

I tinted the taillights on my last car, but instead of using nightshades I used this model rc tint that was made for rc cars for tinting the windows. It works better then nightshades because it lets all the light through, but when the lights are off it's black. John

me too. I was going to bake em, open them and paint the inside black like you do the Headlight chrome housings on 2g Talon & 2ga Eclipses. I have the feeling painting the diamond cut (stock type but clear) ones would be a waste of effort.

THE EURO ones (clear but slightly fluted, mostly transparent) ones might work ok... but i really wanted the clears b/c they would look great blacked out.

I have the "diamond-cut" clear side-markers. I plan on hitting them with some Niteshades as soon as the temperature warms up a bit. I'll post pics to show how it looks.

usedcars.com carries the projector style lenses. heres the link-http://www.usedcars.com/autoparts/upaccessoryumitsubishi/ueclipsep.shtml

that link says its for 95-97 (did they mean 95-96).. or is it the same side markers from 95-99??

Niteshades depends on how much you use. I've got my rear tails done and when they're on, the light shines through just fine. When they're off they look nice and black. So as long as you're not putting many coats on, the niteshades will be fine.
