I'm wanting to make my core/piping black but don't know how to go about it.
I know I can paint/PC the piping and it won't be an issue but I don't want to ruin the core with paint or PC.

I'm thinking the best way is to anodize the core but no one in my area does the work. Is there another way to get the black look without ruining the efficiency?
Thanks for any advice.

do they really move over or do they stay in front of you on purpose?

Both, actually.

I've had a few people randomly pull over on back roads, and a few who seem to purposely block the passing lane on the highway.

I did it as more of a joke than anything. I'll probably take it off in a month or so when i have the windows re-tinted.

You can also use radiator paint which will be thin enough unlike other paint you just need to prep it correctly, but the best way is to anodize it

I remember someone talking about a shop doing anodize jobs for $40. Can't remember that name of the shop. But anodize is the way to go. Just call around locally and see what you come up with so you dont have to pay shipping charges.

That was me, $40 out the door.

:dsm:

Anodizing is the best way to go.

But, I'm gonna throw this one out there - what about using the VHT Night Shades on the FMIC? :hmm:

Jerrad I live in Dallas and am getting my intercooler done by Irving Metal Finishers. They can get anodize it there for around $100. If you need anything ceramic coated or powder coated I've got a great place for that also.

Definitely go with the anodizing. I need to get mine done maybe we can both send them in together and get a discount.

Thanks for the heads up man.
I'll pm you if/when I decide to do it.
