Billit bumper insert.

Looking to cut my bumper out to expose more of my intercooler. Anyone have luck with any of the billit grill inserts?




The F-body Camaro grills looks like they could be trimmed to fit pretty easily.

I agree with them. It would look silly. I wouldn't do it. If you search through the photo gallery's, you should be able to get ideas on ways to cut your bumper to fit your needs and not need that grille insert.

I'm not trying to bling up my ride. I just think a huge hole in the front bumper will look bad. A painted grill insert of some sort behind the bumper would at least draw the attention away the large hole in the front of the car. Maybe it would look bad too. That is why I asked if anyone had done something similar.

WellI don't have it anymore , but on my old bumper I have some wire mesh ( something like chicken wire but slightly thicker and more rigid ) I was going to spray it black , but left it the shiney silver it was and hit it with clear coat to keep it clean and i put it on the mouth hole and it looked alright . Wish I had a pic for you to see but I didn't take any . Though I do say that it kept a good number of things from hitting my intercooler . Don't knock it till ya try it
