I'm about to swap out a stock turbo (97 Eclipse GS-t) with a big T 28. I know that this turbo is a direct bolt on but can anyone tell me which gaskets positively need to be changed and does the exhaust manifold have to come off in order to do this swap. Any info. on this install (like any problem areas to watch out for) would be a big help. I was also wondering at what boost level is it safe to run the Big T28 with stock injectors. I have all your basic bolt ons (turbo back 3in, K&N cone, Upper IC piping, boost controller, boost and lean/rich guages, as well as a Walbro fuel pump). I hope to upgrade to new injectors one day but for now I'll have to stick with the stock injectors. For those who have upgraded to larger injectors, is retuning a must or can you still run pretty good with a stock ECU controlling everything. Yeah I know, a lot of questions but if anyone can help, I'd appreciate it. Thanks big time!
