when you install the blitz front bumper do you need to remove the fiberglass bumper behind the stock bumper?? My blitz front wont fit with that piece on there.....if anyone could explain how to make it fit please help me............................ :dsm:

you have to trim the thing to make it fot or remove it entirely, I removed mine

what is behind that fiberglass piece..........it looks like nothing is behind it??????

That's the bumper support that you either have to shave/cut down, or remove it completely. All it is is a 5mph bumper.. so you're not really sacrificing anything. If you're worried about safety, just weld or bolt in a steel bar that goes across. You might want to worry about insurance too. If you get in a front end crash and your insurance company finds out that you don't have that bumper support anymore... well, they won't like it. Almost all body kits require this to be removed/cut though, so it's pretty common.

where do i bolt my kit to if this is gone...............so i just take it off and dont replace it......

im kinda confused guys..........anyone with pics???? and/or more details........

thanks!!!!!!!!!

the bumoer is held in place by the 5 scrws on top near the latch, then there are 2 screws that bolt it to the fneder from underneath in the wheel well
