Van,
Hey Guys,

I've done a few searches but nothing helpful specific to my situation came up... so I hope you can help me here with your honest (and, hopefully, unbiased) opinions! Thanks in advance!

I have a '96 TSi AWD.

I'm deciding on my next mod, and I have a chance to pick-up the big GReddy FMIC for a decent price... In your honest opinion, could I use such a big FMIC for my set-up now or in the near future? Right now, I have a K&N FIPK, Dejon 2.75" intake, Big 16G (ported, not clipped) with 34mm flapper mod, GReddy upper/lower IC pipes (with Type-S BOV), A'PEXi RS-Series exhaust ("3-inch" cat-back), 190lph Walbro FP, Busta MBC... could I put the FMIC on safely at this point? Is it appropriate? I have no fuel management at this point... Would I be better off going with the small GReddy FMIC (I've heard that the big GReddy might be "too big" for a Big 16G)? The reason I seem partial to the GReddy IC's is because I already have the GReddy Upper and Lower IC pipes... is it a bad move to go with the GReddy instead of, say, the A'PEXi, which allows more air to the radiator?

Thanks!

Fred

Well, if you are only going to be running a 16G you don't even really need to go with a front mount. First off your greddy piping if for your side mount so unless I am mistaken you will need new pipes anyway. Unless you are getting a hell of a deal or really like the look of a font mount, I would just get a supra sidemount and save your cash for the other things you need, like some bigger injectors and an afc or some other type of fuel controler. Just my opinion take from it what you will.
