I just bought a set of dual piston 1G Calipers for my 1Ga... also got Hawk Pads, Power Slot Rotors (all 4) and RRE SS Brake Lines.

My question is... do I need anything else to improve my braking or just som Motul and I am golden? No need to upgrade booster or the master cylinder?

I've got a set of 92-94 Diamante calipers (dual-piston) and stock Diamante rotors up front on my car (like 93 AWD DSM' rotors.) - stock brake lines, and with PORTERFIELD R-4 brake pads, they lock up whenever I want them to, along with having a long braking duration before heat-fade starts to become a problem. With aggressive rotors like that be ready for pads to DIE and wear them in correctly. I see no need to do anything with the booster or master but thats because I am happy with my set-up. Porterfield pads are costly. 110-190 dollars a pair... but I am sorry, cheap pads are simply worth what they are labled. Cheap. And Costly pads, well them seem to live up to the price.

Non-ABS.

1Ga's are non ABS right? Did you notice a big difference when going from single piston to dual piston? I hear the Brake Lines are a definite plus...

I myself didn't do the swap, (bought the 1G with the brake-swap)but take it from a 2G FWD single piston person using before hand(used to own / drive a 2G) - dual piston is MUCH BETTER. That upgrade was surely worth it. Before I wondered why people did it, then I drove one that had it done... very large differ. in the 2G FWD non-abs it was hard to even get the wheels to lock up after afew brake stops, and heat-fade would start very quickly.

As for the ABS question - no idea off hand.

yes 1ga's did come w/ abs, but they are kinda rare seems like people back then didnt really want it either. when i did my swap i deff. noticed a big difference in stopping power.
