Hi, well i have to take my car (2g) to get smoged and i wanted to know if anyone has passed smog recently with a Big 16g. I'm a little worried because i waited until the last minute, and i need to get it done in one shot. I'm running a Big16g, 550's, 190lph, injien intake, K&N FIPK, S-AFC, FMIC, and blitz BOV. I already replaced my gas cap, plugs and wires, and just wanted to know if there is anything else i should do to help. I would appreciate anything you guys could give me, thanks!!

Well if cali smog is anything like delaware sniffer tests pour some strong rubbing alcohol in your 1/4 full gas tank, that should help you pass (alcohol has no emissions). Good luck!

Well i found a link that shows how to make the Blitz BOV vent back into the intake. So besides the BOV should everything be fine? If that doesn't do it then i guess i'll use the alcohol. Here in Cali we have a roller test, not the sniffer.

Yea if you can get the BOV to vent back to the intake (recirculate) then you will run leanER (not lean, just not as rich :D). Think about it: The ECU is adding fuel for the air that the BOV is venting out because it doesn't know the air is gone, so you are running richer. Richer = more emissions. Good luck with the test!
