Your not gona see those times whit a stock turbo but a 16g and supporting mods will sure get you way closer to your goal ..
I don't think an upgrade is too much money but then again you gota pay to play..
 
The cheapest way would be cut the exhaust of, make a make shift boost controller, and port everything you can. But really i would say a turbo upgrade and some type of tuning and logging device. Search ebay for a front mount kit, exhaust and turbo. Then try to get an afc and logger.
 
first off if you would search you would have already had your answer, but here it goes anyways. All you have to do is check 1/4 mile times with other members. Then mimic there bolt-ons and learn how to drive, if you dont know how. An automatic is tricky because you need a stall converter and shift kit. But other than that get a 16g turbo and port your mani,o2, and turbo. Then get some fuel upgrades like a 190 fuel pump and a minimum of 550cc fuel injectors. With injectors you need a way to control them like an safc or dsmlink. Then you will be on your way.
 
I was thinking about front mount intercooler, HKS BoV, Evo III 16G, 1g throttle body, 550 cc injecters, 255l fuel pump, high stall torque converter, translab shift kit, end clutch, Cat-Back Exhaust System.

What do you guys think?

that should be a good start. then it gets expensive with Turbo/Intercooler Upgrade. but i guess you could go 14b and SSAC.
 
No, what I mean by cheap is like when 1 mod is like $1000, but I like what horsepower or 1/4 do you think it will run?

cost: well it all depends on where you buy everything from. shop around, ebay, classifieds.
my guess would be
$500ish for Fuel mods
$500ish for Dsmlink
$400ish Ebay DP, 02, Catback
$350ish for IC + 1g BOV set up
Turbos you can try n hit your goal with a 14b that you could find for like $120 if you wanna keep the budget low. but a 16g will cost u +$500. unless you go Ebay- but thats a forum in itself.
$60 Boost Gauge
$50ish for a MBC unless you try n make your own for $10
tranny upgrades will depend on if you do it yourself... so add the parts plus the mechanic costs.
 
I had the Evo 16G in plan, fuel mods were: 550 cc injectors and 255l fuel pump. And I think i'm going to look for the Tial BoV (They aren't bad priced $195). As for the tranny upgrades, I was thinking Translab Shift Kit, End Clutch, and High-Stall Torque Converter.

16g-$560 A must for more power
550cc injectors-$200
SAFC-$200
255lph fuel pump-$100
Rewire fuel pump
Gut the car
Remove extra accessorie
Manual tranny swap-$600
MBC-$50

So for about $2000 you can get it to your goal.
