4-2-1 good for low end and is a 4-1 header good for top end? or is it the other way around. on a stock 420a what do you guys recommend is the best 1 to get??? or it doesnt really matter which 1 you get only where you want the power?

Hey man hows things? I was wondering why you dont turbo your car? I went to an eclipse meet last year and two of the eclipse's that showed were 420 turbos which were very reliable according to the owners.
Im only asking cause I saw your posts about hp gains with headers and for that money you wont gain anything compared to a turbo swap. Ive owned my 96 eclipse rs for close to ten years and I can tell you that other than a turbo swap you wont have any nice gains with that car. Thats why I made the decision to buy my gst. Dont get me wrong I love my rs, it drives so smooth, shifts like butter looks real nice. I came very close to doing a turbo swap on my rs trust me LOL. Anyhow I hope I gave you a few more options for your car without sounding like Im bashing you cause Im not in any way. cheers bro:thumb:

4-1 headers you might gain 5 hp in the high rpms.

4-2-1 you might gain 2-3 hp in mid-high rpm ranges. also 4-2-1 generally sound deeper.

4-1 is top end, 4-2-1 is NOT only low end but also mid. I heard u lose some torque with 4-1 headers. And don't forget: headers alone don't make your car to a racer.

hey i've seen some of your vids on youtube. nice car btw. oh & yeah i know headers alone wont make my car into a race car LOL!
