50trims with the proper supporting mods really perform well on pump gas.

-118mph @23psi on a crank walked (Built up) 6bolt locally her in MN. Now he's gone 2.4L with a SCM61 and T04S cover.

man whats with the haters in this thread??

anyway nice job Dave, give me a buzz sometime i dont have your new number in my phone i been waitin for you to call me. :dsm:

:D Yeah the people like that dont bother me. It's pretty sad how some people need to express themselves. I dont pay any attention to it. The car is what it is, nothing more & nothing less. It goes faster everytime I go to the track. That keeps my attitude good. The people that respond like this arent making me look bad, only themselves. ;)

Oh, and just for referance, a BPU++ Supra the same night ran a 12.3 @ 112mph. A 2000 Camaro SS with intake exhaust, etc., ran a 14.9 @ 94mph, a fairly modded GN ran a 12.3 @ 111mph. And the only car that trapped better than me was a HEAVILY modded MR2 with a T78 that ran 11.0 @132.... The night before he raced, this same car had just made 750whp! 750whp for 132mph traps, in a very light car? You do the math.

Out of the hundred or so cars that night, I had the 4th quickest ET, and the 2nd fastest MPH.

(Haters want to hate. Lovers want ot Love. I dont evan want, none of the above. I want to Piss on you, yes I do I piss on you. I Pee on you.)

You mean tuning, or how to setup a car?

The car is what it is, nothing more & nothing less.

You mean a car with a $7000 motor and a 9 second turbo that runs 12.5's or did you mean somthing else.

The people that respond like this arent making me look bad

No your times do.

Your car is not pissing on much running 12.5's@120 mph at 30 psi. Those are 20 psi 50 trim pump gas times.

Thanks for the input. :) Constructive criticism is very helpfull. I appreciate your help.

Here is some, tune your car with something other then your ass. How do you tune a car with a MAFT and a SAFC? You have no wideband and no logging equipment. what do you use, an air fuel gauge?

LOL....... Dude i have to say you suck at life and driving.... but whatever

You will have similar results with your highly overkilled setup.

First of all, nice traps gsx. Secondly, this was done at 3000ft ABOVE sea level. Geez, if the same run was done at sea level he would have trapped around 124.5, which is even more impressive. Anyways nice work man, it's not tuned to the hilt, but that just means it can improve that much more.

Thanks man. Im glad some understand the effects of higher elevation. And yes, the car will be improved on ALOT. The tune is still very rough.

Nice MPH :thumb:

Last time Matt (dsmtrace) went to the track, he ended up running a 13.9@120. His 1/8th mile time on that run was 10.0xx @ 82.xx mph. He gained almost 40 mph between the 1/8 & 1/4 mile traps.

You're pushin' some nice numbers GSX :thumb:

I dont know my "sea level" where I'm at but with my 16g equipped FWD on slicks I ran a 8.46 @ 89 mph at 20 psi. and I granny shifted bad too.. so you say you picked up 27 mph between the 1/4 and 1/8 so that means you ran the 1/8 at 93 mph.

I dont know but with a bigger turbo and 10 more psi you should have been pulling a little harder than 93 in the 1/8th. next time I go I will be dyno tuned and expect to pull it into the 90 mph range.

I dont have a 1/4 track anywhere close.

bad thing is I am one of the slower DSM's in the area there are 3 locally that trap over 100 one of them has trapped 113 1/8 and 143 1/4!

That's what I'm thinkin. My best run so far 9.600 at 94.5 at buffalo valley is on an almost stock car. My truck ran 9.220 at 82mph on the same track against a NOSed camaro ss who ran a 8.200 @ 90. I havent ran it on a quarter mile track yet but I'm currious to see how it compares to the others in this thread. :thumb:

Not trying to bash, but that's just awfully fast. What are your mods?

That's pushing some serious late-track acceleration.

Well, it took me about 4 trips to the track on tuning day but with a little spray at the right times and you can really see a difference on a short track ;) But my truck actually didnt have any mods on it that wasn't an option. The big difference is the end gear. I'm still not consistant enough to compete cause the rednecks around here all run autos. Heh-- i admit i damaged a few things on that one run :shhh: But after putting my belts back on and limping home with a messed up rotor(not to sure what happend there) I took the NOS off and sold it for upgraded rotors and pads. Now I actually stop better but no more bottle.
