What are the best aftermarket halo headlights available?

I would also like to know... My headlights I have now are getting a little old and worn. Hopefully by bringing this post back into the recents we'll get an answer.

I have ebay halo headlight. Pretty cheap and I had to do lil mod to make it sit near flush to the bumper. On mine there is a lil gap on the corners on left and right side. I have black housing headlight.

Basically because the light out put on the halos blows.
Unless you do a HID retrofit.

When i was building my awd,I bought OEM headlights with black housing from ebay. I really like the way they look. Paid under 100$ and year past ,they still look like new no fade nothing here is the pic:

that site looks like the ones i have but i bought them on ebay a year ago and paid that price and they were ccfl and everything and only one halo worked it really pssd me off
but shouldve known better...damn ebay sellers

It just isn't worth the money to me.
When I get around to it, I'm getting OEM 2gb headlights.

The K number refers to the colour of the light, not the brightness. 8000k is blue, 6000k is really close to white, 4300k is I think around normal compared to other cars. Slightly yellow. You can even get 10,000k which is purple.

I started with 8000k. It was really blue. So I got 6000k, which are better for seeing stuff.

Though it doesn't refer to brightness, the lower numbers <8000k will be better for night driving. 4300k is, like I said, the industry standard. To illustrate this, I'd imagine you can take a flashlight out at night. Walk around with it on illuminating the path ahead of you. Then get some blue or purple cellophane. Granted, it'll dim a tiny bit from the cellophane, but it'll light up a lot less.

Does this make sense? It's kinda hard to describe.

6000k is a good compromise between 'normal' and blue.

I've got the ones off eBay with black housing,projector, angel eyes, and the hid comes built in already. I believe they are 8000k. they look really good, but you can not see anything on back roads without the brights. I went and got 2gb to replace them but havent put them in yet. I hope this helps with your decision.

I, too, recently installed the single-halo projectors off EBAY like the guys above.

Mitsubishi Eclipse 1997-1999 Black Halo Projector Headlights-Mitsubishi Projector Lights <--- not ebay, but same product.

I DID have a couple minor fitment issues, couple bolt holes didn't line up right so I've got 3 bolts in each of 'em, but they're damn good and I picked them up for like $130 shipped. Also the lights were wired differently than my 99 (had a connector for each light rather than one for both) so I had to modify the wiring and splice it into the original connector. But I love the hell out of them.

They have the double-halo ones now but they're recessed in a more outward plastic and don't look as deep, so I don't like them so much.

Those are not OEM. They are ebay's OEM alternative meaning they are technically aftermarket. I almost bought the same one's. They look identical to OEM and fitment is awesome but really they are an aftermarket part kindof like what your insurance company would put on your car if you got into an accident.

Mine aren't HID, I've never tried the HID setup.
