So my AC went out and I got ahold of another compressor. I had forgotten to doublecheck that the AC line flanges would match up and they dont. So now its all bolted in and ready to run and the flanges just need to be shifted slightly. I was looking at them and it looks like the flanges are two pieces pressed together. Has anybody ever messed with these and tried twisting them? I'm just a little paranoid of breaking the lines, it looks like it could be done with some pliers but they wouldn't break free easily when I tried.

Tweeking the AC lines can be done CAREFULLY, The thinner line is muck easier to tweek the the large line. TO much tweeking and you get a kink, you dont want kinks, unless its with your wife/husband/girlfriend/boyfriend...then kinky is good :)

Ha well if you ever look at the flange end it looks like it's two pieces, however I never got them to break free so I gave up and harvested some of the proper lines off a parts car I had.
