Hey i purchesed my car a while ago, and decided today to do the bcs restrictor removal mod.. So i unbolt the bcs from underneath my aircan and i find the nipple with the widget thing in it.
After i get it out.. i go to put the hoses back on and notice the one that goes on the nipple i just unrestricted...goes straight out to a plastic "T" that caps off to itself. the other one (with the white lines) i can kinda trace bac kto the ass-end of the air can thing. it seems a little pointless to unrestrict a hose that isnt going anywhere.
I bought my car used from a dealership with some mods done, and some mods obviously removed. There is a hole in my A pillar where i can see there was a gauge pod, but that is gone.. and the stereo was all screwed up. I dont know if it was a kid at the dealership swapping the stuff out of this car to his own or something.. or if it was sold with the things removed but it seems to me that hose should go somewhere.. and it used to go to a boost controller of some sort.
My car runs fine with it capped, but if i can plug it in to where it goes and squeeze some extra power that would be great.
There is a nipple coming off my greddy bov, perhaps it goes there? or do i need to cap that?
I have checked all over vfaq and done numerous searches on where the hoses go on the forums but cant find anything relevant.. so anyone who may know i would appreciate it if ya hit me back
