One day, the battery light came on my car, and after couple of days, the car went dead. Today i took that batery to get it tested. Turns out the battery is bad. I asked the lady if it could be the amp in my car, and she said YEA. I still had the warranty on the battry so i got it replaced. I came home and installed the battery. I installed it and started it up, took some time before it charged up to start by it self(had to jump start the new batt). When it was charged, it still had the BATERY LIGHT was on. I thought leaving it on for like an hour to charge fully will get rid of it, but it didnt.
My car starts fine and everything now. Could it be my alternator that is bad?
I unhooked my amp from the battery connection. Is that anyway i can still use my amp without hurting the battery?
