ok cars started over heating tonight grrrr:mad: i just changed the damn thermostat about 2 months ago but after about a month the heater hose busted and the car ran hot again a couple times matter a fact before i got home to fix it. so my question is after you change the thermostat and the car runs hot again could it cause the thermostat to prematurely fail on me???

when you replaced the thermostat the first time did it fix the problem for a while? Are you loosing coolant somehow? What's your AFR? there's a lot of things that could cause your car to overheat...need more info :)

yeah it fixed it for a good while just started today the coolant is coming out of the reserve well steam is no more coolant, and not real keen with what afr is??

just a quick update i was able to work on the car this morning and found out that it wasn't the thermostat after i went and got another new one. but it turns out the fan relay quit on me. so everything is good
