i was having boost controller problems all day and i just couldnt get it consistent. i ran 7 times and i noticed that the boost was holding at 23 psi( way to high for me) and the car despite bad 60 foot times still wasnt pulling like it should and i couldnt get better then a 14.3@102

could the 80 degree and high humidity weather be to blame or maybe was the ecu pulling on my timing to correct for high boost? when i got home i got the boost settled down around 18psi and drove around a few times and it felt way more faster ,like it should have been.

i was defientely hoping for a high 13 at least. any suggestions?

The weather conditions probably didn't help any, but you were probably getting timing pulled by running that much boost.

Practise your driving, 102 traps are good for high 13's

I visited the track friday and was trapping 100 with evoIII set at 14lbs. My best time was 13.9 at 95 mph but that was because i couldnt get the car into fourth gear so i coasted across the quarter. I think i would have trapped 101 and possibly 13.8 -13.7. My car is a FWD 2G..

yea 18 psi is what i wanted to run but i dont know what happened, i run 18 psi everyday and the one day i go to the track i get high boost and my boost controller was just acting weird, yet i get home and its fine, must be a sign

Im gonna enlarge my fmic pipes on the outlet side from 2 inch to 2.25 and run when its colder, id also like to invest in some drag radials ive never had better then a 2.3 60', and then maybe ill do better.

get bfg's drag radial if you have a extra pair of rims if not
get the nitto 555r's

the bfg's are good for about 3,000 to 4,000 miles ~~~~ better traction
and the nitto's are good for around 15,000 miles
