ok so i was driving the other day and everything was going good.
then i looked down, and my oil pressure gauge was reading zero.
i just replaced the oil sending unit 2 weeks ago too, so i know thats not a problem, i cheched the connection to the sending unit and its strong.
the weird thing is its not ticking, i actually drove it home that night about 10 miles to my house and i didint notice any difference in driving, but then again i was babying it so i really couldnt tell.
any ideas?
maybe just a bad gauge?
or oil pump?

I had a new sending unit go bad 3 days after i got it! I would try a new sending unit, or your old one if it worked... As long as you think the connection is good, thats what i would say it is... It could be the guage, but I doubt it..

yeah i was gonna try that first it wouldnt hurt to return the sending unit for a new one. and the old one doesnt work so i dont any way to check but to get the new one.

Yea, can't hurt to try another one!!! Good luck...

well when i bought mine it had different gauge installed could have been for same reason idk.....
