hey, umm i did a compression test yesterday and left from right it was 30-70-100-150, this is the second time in a year that the head or head gasket blew agian! u think my car is running lean? boost 16 psi, just a fuel pump for fuel mods

I see in your "mod" list you have 550s and a SAFC............or is it just a 255 pump, and that's it? Are you running the 14B at 16PSI? Did the car overheat the first time? Did the head require re-surfacing the first time? Did you clean the surface properly the first time? Did you or someone else tune the car?

But yes, a bad tune/running lean can blow a head gasket. Plus there can be several other reasons for a head gasket to blow. A little more information is required for diagnosis.

Did you have the head decked and serviced when you did the gasket last time? If not, you could have put a warped head back on. You might want to check the trueness of the block too. That could be warped as well if it was overheated.
If both are good, I would use ARP bolts if you haven't already. After the first week, retorque them. Do some research on the gaskets, but I think the cometic has been talked about the most.

Usually running lean would tend to burn a hole in the piston. Especially since they are not forged.

Hope that helps.

k thank you, i didnt do the head by my self they told me that it was all good and they just but a new gasket and the head on, i snapped an intake valve last time, it didnt need to be decked they told me!
