bad compression rebuild?

Motor has about 9,000 miles on it (Stock rebuild in 07) Did a compression test tonight coming out too.

130-130-130-130 dry

170-170-170-170 wet

Engine was completely warmed up.

It was very consistent but pretty low id say. Figured my rings are gone but not to sure how it did so soon? Pretty big jump though from dry to wet. Car feels 10-15 hp slower then it should be. Any ideas? Read adding lucas to your reg oil changes will raise the CR a bit?

DONT ADD LUCUS please dont do that,, that stuff coagulates and can really really sludge up a motor, what ever horsepower youll get from compression back again will be robbed by the sludge

try slick 50,, does the same thing ill swear by it, keeps all my american POS motors running much longer then there susposed to

every time i do an oil change i put a glug or two in with it just for percaution( my gsx )

ive ripped apart a vtec with lucas in it and then again with slick 50 ( dont ask why its a long story and i hate VTEC s because of it ) but the differences were amazing in how that head looked with the two fluids in it

good luck with everything and hope that compression ratio goes back up

what oil did you use for break in? and what are you running now?

sounds like the rings are glazed and did not seat right.
