Hey guys, my reverse lights stopped working the other day and I traced the problem to the switch that screws into the tranny. I ordered a replacement through a local shop and when it came in i tried to swap them out to find that the new one did not fit into my tranny, the threaded part was too long. I went to a few other stores and they all said the same part would fit. I pulled the one out of my car and tried to take a good pic so that you guys could help find a replacement. It has Pollak 23971 6hb written on it and I couldn't find anything about it online. Any suggestions? I have a '97 gs

Thank you,

The 420a cars don't need a washer or rather mine didn't have one when I replaced the reverse light switch. zrb16, I would go to a junk yard and pull one out of an Eclipse or Neon. Just bring a 22mm wrench or crescent wrench with you. The last sensor I bought the guy at the desk told me to stick it in my pocket and leave. I left him $1 on the counter anyway.
