i have my mods listed but i'll post some here anyway....

GT-13 turbo
FPcam2 cams
dejontool front mount
2.5 inch short route i/c piping
FIC 650cc injectors
3 inch GM maf and translator
walbro 255lph pump
adj. fpr
mitsu metal head gasket
arp head studs
full 3 inch turbo back atr exhaust (O2 elim. and no cat)
fidanza flywheel
stage 3 dsmchip burned for the 650's.
etc. etc.

anyway, i'm gonna downgrade turbo's i think and he's gonna pay me some cash on top of it. easier for me right now than having to swap my injectors and dsmchip. i'm running at 97% duty cycle and get knock pretty easy. my question is, does anyone know what rpm's those things pull to? the efficency range? was thinkin of running 22psi or so on it but dunno how well it'll hold up to that. i know the turbo is much smaller but i'm thinkin it can maybe actually help out cause there's less air going thru the i/c and can cool it better as well as spool time would be cut and the injectors aren't being pushed to the max. i was wanting to get a 20g but my buddy here in town can just do a straight up swap with me. my rev limiter is set at 8k rpm but dunno if i'd even need it at that really if it's not gonna pull all the way to that. what do you guys think??? hmmm.....also, i'd be keeping the 650cc injectors and just tuning out the fuel with the translator. hoping i can lean it out enough.

Lots of guys do 650's with an evo16G, you'll be fine at 22 psi too. You have a race dejon and it could not handle that GT? What does that GT flow lbs/min?
As far as your set up goes you'll be fine with the big 16 and 22 psi. Man what were you trying to run that you could get the knock out? Mark
PS: only $20. to reburn the chip for more injector and you could sell the 660's ina flash and put that towards the larger inj's.Is the GT water cooled. Just a thoght

not saying the dejontool wasn't cooling it enough. but i think it'd cool the air even more if there wasn't as much air going thru it.....GT-13 downgraded to a B16g. as far as knock, heck, i could run 15psi-20 psi and get knock but having to run it pretty rich to keep from getting any, on 93 octane. higher octane knocked it out but that's kinda pricey to be running it every day. not to say my car isn't fast now, but thinkin if i went to a smaller turbo, i'd see some improvements. especially on bottom end. planning on getting an aftermarket intake manifold as well here sometime soon.

also forgot to mention that this B16g is ported and clipped so i'm sure it'll help out on bottom end and top end might not be so bad but still wonder if it'll give outta steam at a higher rpm or not. hmmm....

as for the GT-13, i'm not sure of the flow rates but here's what's on the sbr site.

Compressor side:
• 60 "trim" comp wheel
• 2.32" inducer
• 3.00" exducer

Turbine side:
• 2.16" exducer
• 2.36" major

I just got a 60-1, same comp wheel as ou! You had the RACE Dejon and had knock at 15-20 psi on 93 octane? I once tried the street dejon and it was way too small for a 50 trim. I hitrev limiter with my EVO 16g a couple of times at 22psi but that had some 112 octane mixed in.
I just ordered a dsmchip myself. Man that GT is a BB. Nice. Sorry it has to go. When you got te turbo to run without knock on better fuel how high did you take it and how did it pull? Mark

Scott,
Have you tried reducing the base timing to see if it helps? Going to a smaller turbo may actually hurt you, if it heats up the air more than your GT13. Maybe we just need to pull some timing out of your top map, or try the new, extended timing maps?

well, i was running straight 114 octane and 22psi. let my buddy with the 16g (that i'm gonna trade with) have about a car length head start and at about 50 mph i dropped it into second and pulled on him pretty hard. but he also wasn't running a front mount at the time either. i have the dsmchip and figured it'd keep the knock down.....but no go. guess my injectors are just too small and not gonna change that crap out. i'll probably upgrade to a 20g or green or something when i have the cash flow though. i dunno. just wait and see i guess.

i'm running 5 degrees base timing. also to, changing the timing maps isn't gonna solve the problem of my injector duty cycle being at 97% now is it? my car's been down too much lately to have to worry about sending my ecu off somewhere to get a new chip put in.

FOR GUYS CONSIDERING THE 60-1 CHECK OUT SCOTT'S MODS. THE GT-13 HAS THE SAME WHEEL AS THE 60-1. SEEMS LIKE 650'S WERE NOT ENOUGH FOR SCOTT! MARK
