Car in question is a 1990 GST, I have been trying for about 5 minutes to put in the axle side front wheel seal. I am using the "Seal install kit" from Checker/Shucks/Kragen. Before T try it again do these things need to be pressed in?

On our cars I do not belive that an axle seal would need to be pressed in. A wheel bearing on the front and rear would beed to be pressed in. Later model vehicles 2000+ are using axle seals that need to be pressed as a standard. good luck man. :thumb:

use the old seal on top of the new seal to gently hammer it in. Just make sure to grease up new seal before you try and put it in, it will make your lif 100 x easier.
