Awd auto engine combination

What would be a good engine combo for an automatic awe running a 6266- 6766? 2.0, 2.3, 2.4? 1g or 2g head? Do seem to do better with stroked motors or de-stroked long rod motors. This is for drag racing and will be on the road very little.

Id say a longrod 2.1(destroked 4g64) with a ported 2g head

ALL of it is your choice, guy. Check out some build threads and read through all the posts you can and figure out what you want to do and just go for it! The destroker idea is pretty cool, but it all depends on how much you wanna spend, part availability, and what you want out of it. Good luck, man!
