Resolved Autometer gauge ingnition source

what are some commonly used ignition sources for your gauges? looking for two seperate ones (gauge power and backlight)

I like to use the power wire that I tapped into off of the ECU as my ignition source. For the back light, i think the most convieniant place is the wire going into the fog light switch (there's a power wire there that comes on w/ the parking lights). Another common ignition source is the cigarette power wire.
