So I have read a few different things about fixing this. But here is the skinny; My short route IC piping is constantly rubbing/bumping against the tranny dipstick tube right at the dipstick part and constantly pops the dipstick out. So my first question is will it do anything or does anybody know how thin and if it would break if I were to bend the tube (by hand) a little bit out of the way? The other question is I have read on here that I can unbolt it and turn it around. Some have said the bolts are on top and some said the bolts are inside the tranny. I am not sure at the moment as I am not any where close to my car to verify. But any help will be greatly appreciated.

There is a brace that mounts to the tranny at the tube base with a 10mm bolt..
I have mine way out of the way. I used the tube and dipstick from a 3000gt...Hit me up if you want check out what I did and see if it'll work for you..Are you on VADSM ?

I would def like to check it out. Yes I am on VADSM.

This is on a 1g..The only distance that matters is the end of the tube and where the HOT mark is...

You can just put a screwdriver thru the hole and bend it about an inch to whichever sides it needs to without having to unbolt anything.

I had to do that in order for my VRSF FMIC piping to clear without hitting the dipstick. Very simple to do.

Did the same thing also. no problems to date and can easily still pull the dipstick to check my fluid levels.
