This one guy I know deleted his a/c completly I mean he even took out the electronics from the interior. He told me that he took a Radiator from an automatic and put it in his 92 1/2 talon tsi manual gearbox. He said he routed the Power steerings cooling lines to where the A/T Lines are supposed to be anybody have a say in this.

Well, it won't cool as well as the stock loop in front of the radiator, sticking out there in the nice, cool air. But your pal doesn't seem all that interested in being cooled-off anyhow, so....
It shouldn't hurt anything, but it's not the best choice.
