I was wondering if any knew of a device that amplifiers the audio signal going to an amplifier. What I want to do is use my ipod as the replacement for the headunit. But the max volume level on the ipod and the gain controls on the amplifier do not put out enought volume to overcome my exhaust while crusing OMG Anywho....like I said before does anyone know of a volume booster that will allow me to turn up the volume without going through a headunit??

i cant think of anything. what you can do is get your ipod and hook it thru an fm modulator, i seen some on ebay for 20 bucks. you can plug in the ipod into the mod, then that into your deck(headunit) and use that. also, do u have a stock stereo, speakers, maybe a full system? what are we working with here? IM me, we'll figure something out:thumb:

Basically an Ipod, amp, and speakers only.... but I think I figured it out. I heard that radio shack as a headphone audio booster so I went and picked on up for $10. Its awesome and works!! Since the Ipod has a volume control on it, I just turn the booster all the way up and the amplifier gain all the way up and I can now hear my music ;) The other awesome thing is, theres no any noticable distortion. I really really appreciate the help VOTBLINDUB and expecially for you posting a response. If you ever need anything, Im there for ya.... :thumb:
