ATTN: Those that own a Magnus Intake Manifold.

Does it make the car sound like there is a vaccumm leak? There is a loud hissing coming from the intake manny area and I can not find a leak whatsoever, even using a vacuum leak finder tester.

Is the sound Im hearing just the air sucking through the sheetmetal intake? If I put my palm on top of the intake manifold it quiets down, I still hear it but gets noticeably quieter.

AWESOME. I thought I had a leak somewhere, but if you listen close it does sound like air traveling inside the manifold

i had a similar problem too with my custom manifold. makes you parinoid thinking theres a air leak.
got told its normal or the sound of the injectors pulsing being amplified.

We did a boost leak test, and a leak down up at Elite Autosports here in MN, right before I got on the dyno. Since I'd installed new I/C piping, FMIC, 1G TB, and 2G SMI. I wanted to make sure (especially since I heard that sound).

Everything check out perfect.
