Hey guys im moving back down into lehigh acres/ft myers area, ide go to this meet but im not moving till the end of january.


hey importimage, are you the owner?, cause i think i know you, is or was that shop on like a backroad off of a main road, in lehighacres?. its some road that goes from lehigh into ft myers. anyways, ill be in ft myers feb 1
 
I'll be down there in Mid January, so if you want to be hospitable to your Alaskan far-off neighbor, that would work for me...... :sneaky:
 
alaskan guy - where in florida u moving to?, if its near ft myers, hopefully we can start something there.
 
If any of us Miami guys are going to attend we are going to need a long notice.

Not leaving the land of ice and snow (and long summer days), but just going to some trainng classes on sanibel island and be down there for another 4 or 5 days to goof off. I was going to drive from Orlando, to Sanibel (near Ft. Meyer) and then ?? back to Orlando.

I was just hoping to get together with a group of DSMers while down there. There are only a few of us up here..... :notgood:
 
oh that sounds cool, how are you getting your car down here?, also sanibel is pretty close to ft myers, and when are you exactly comming down, cause i wont be in florida till about feb 1st or 2nd.
 
i love to go up there with some Miami DSMer's or any down south DSM to meet up in a track with other dsm's .. hopefully i will be up an running for the date it will happen . but will love to go .. set a date...
 
Orlando has a nice track as well, good variety of cars as stated before, great track, prep could be a little better, traction isn't to much of a problem, they brush all the rubber out, wash it down etc. I got about 7 guys out in Daytona with GSTs/GSXs that would love to go, one has a 2.3 stroker in it, almost completely built 1g, and a variety of others. Ya'll name the date and we are there.
 
December 24th, any updates? Either location is perfectly fine by me. Just need so notice when the exact date is so I can prepare to have my car painted and complete by the date of the event.
 
Bradenton sounds good to me, great track, only 2 hours away from me, and I can visit my sister if its near the weekend.
 
any updates news on this meet? im interested in going wherever it is... may i suggest moroso motor sporta park, its near jupiter and palm beach, great track.
 
i still say Bradenton. I would rather take the 3 hour drive up there than the 40 minute drive to Moroso. Moroso not for nothing sucks. You will be lucky to get 3 runs in. Last tiem I was t Bradenton i got 3 runs in the2 hours i was there for teh test and tune and that was letting the car sit and cool down a few times. Time is wearing thin though.

true, but like i said ill go anywhere as long as we have a meet. yea time is wearing thin, where is this going to be held at?
 
Time left for me to schedule this into my trip is getting short. If it's going to happen in Mid-January, lets get the date set so I can make it. If it's after that, well, you guys will just somehow get along with out me! ROFL
 
I will perhaps make the trip up there. It gives far enough notice to go so it sounds like a plan.
 
i no longer have a job so i can do both also, orlando is almost definatly , bradinton is kind of iffy , its a far drive to me ,and speedworld is a decent track i have no complaints. i will throw a date out there and you guys tell me if you like it, say january 14th its a saturday, accually its next saturday LOL.. err ill go at any time, im not sure what time they open but ill find out , i will probably be there from open-close, so what do you guys think saturaday january 14th:confused: ?? for the orlando one ( well have 2 meets, 1 at eaCH track )

if i get good responses ill be there! :rocks:
