I have a ATI damper for a 7 bolt Im trying to get the hub on and the hub will not go on at all. It goes on about half way but then it just doesn't move at all and I don't want to mess up the threads on a brand new crank. Has anyone that's using this damper needed to hone the hub at all.

It's a VERY close fit.

If it's not lined up perfectly, it won't go on.

Did you warm it up at all. I called ATI and they told me to warm it up in the oven for 15 minutes and then go put it on, but my only worry in doing that is it going to " shrink fit" the hub on the crank when it cools. If the crank seal ever goes it's going to be a pain to take the hub off or am I thinking wrong?

Just to clarify a little more, I just put my hub on. But I heated it up at 400f for 30 min and it slid right on. So if you have one, make sure you thoroughly heat it up so it has expanded equally. The first time I tried it went in 3/4 of the way, so I reheated it for an extra 10-15 ontop of what I did before and it went all the way in. Hey, just FYI!
